SECRETARY TO SENIOR MANAGER: GOVERNANCE SUPPORT SERVICES MPUMALANGA PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE Applications are invited from persons in possession of appropriate and relevant experience as indicated hereunder: SECRETARY TO SENIOR MANAGER: GOVERNANCE SUPPORT SERVICES Ref: MPL/07/01/2023 Salary: R429 834.00 Requirements: Grade 12
•Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualifications
•Relevant experience in a secretarial job
•Good verbal and written skills in work related official languages
•Professional and high-level typing skills
•Computer literacy in MS Office
•Ability to work under pressure
•Ability to work with people from all cultures and levels of society
•Expected to work beyond normal working hours
•Good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
•Minutes taking skills
•Document management skills
•Office administration competency
•Diary management skills
•Ability to take initiative and work independently
•Ability to identify and handle confidential matters. Key Performance Areas: Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager
•Manage and control the diary of the Senior Manager
•Keep proper filing of all documents
•Make travelling arrangements
•Screen all incoming correspondence, calls and visitors
•Receive and dispatch mail
•Arrange for official acknowledgement of correspondence
•Prepare venues and other logistics for meetings
•Compile, type and distribute correspondence, reports and documents
•Take minutes during meetings
•Receive visitors
•Make official travel arrangements, processing of subsistence and travel claims and timely reconciliation. SECRETARY TO SENIOR MANAGER: KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND POLICY COORDINATION Ref: MPL/08/01/2023 Salary: R429 834.00 Requirements: Grade 12
